Largest learning park opened in Thai Far South

PATTANI, THAILAND, March 3 (TNA) - Thailand Knowledge Park (TK park), the largest in the country now, has been opened in Pattani Province in the Thai Far South to provide convenient access to knowledge sources to local youths. The Pattani Knowledge Park, inaugurated on Friday, has been established by the Southern Border Provinces Administrative Centre (SBPC), in cooperation with the Muang Pattani Municipality. The newly-established TK park offers more than 20,000 books, multimedia, computer sets, e-library linked to its central system. There are also a theatre room, a conference room and a religious room, while toys and learning activities are available in the TK Kid Area. The two-storey building was designed in the shape of Kolae traditional fishing boat and beehive, signifying peaceful co-existence and multicultural society in the southernmost Thai region. The Pattani Knowledge Park covers a total area of 6,400 square metres,becoming the largest learning centre among all 34 TK parks in 24 Thai provinces. (TNA)
