Leadership congratulated by SCYS Chairman

Manama, Jan. 24 (BNA): HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Advisor to HM the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Olympic Committee, today congratulated HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa; HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, marking the qualification of Bahrain's national handball team to the finals of the World Men's Handball Championship. HH Shaikh Nasser praised the leadership’s support for the sport movement in general, national teams in particular, to highlight Bahrain’s standing in various forums. The national team’s qualification to the worlds’ finals reflects the development seen by the sport movement in Bahrain, he added. HH Shaik Nasser also commended the efforts of Bahrain Handball Association chaired by Ali Al Ishaqi, which provided a proper atmosphere that complement the players’ outstanding efforts to bring the achievement.
