Leadership congratulated by Shaikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa

Manama, Jan. 24 (BNA): Shaikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa today congratulated HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, marking the qualification of Bahrain's national handball team to the finals of the World Men's Handball Championship. Shaikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa said the nation handball team's qualification to the world’s finals reflects the leadership’s support for the sport movement. Shaikh Salman bin Ibrahim also congratulated HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Advisor to HM the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Olympic Committee, on the same occasion, commending his support for the national teams to represent the homeland in sport forums. The national team’s qualification proves the Bahraini handball superiority at the Asian level, it also affirms the Bahraini youth capabilities of accentuating Bahrain’s standing in international sport forums, he added. He praised the exceptional efforts of Bahrain Handball Association, as well as the player’s outstanding performance in the Asian competition, wishing them more successes to come.
