Leadership exchanges congratulations on BDF 50th anniversary

Manama, Feb. 4 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander, today received a cable of congratulations from His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa on the 50th anniversary (Golden Jubilee) of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF). HRH Premier highlighted HM the King's contribution to the establishment of the BDF and constant support to it, which has entitled it to become a model to emulate in defending the national gains and achievements. He wished HM the King good health and happiness to continue the development and prosperity march. HM the King sent a cable of thanks to HRH Premier in reply to his congratulatory cable. HM the King stressed that the BDF will remain the protective shield of the nation, hailing HRH the Premier’s constant support to it. HM the King also received a similar cable marking the same occasion from His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister. HRH Crown Prince, on behalf of BDF personnel, reaffirmed allegiance and loyalty to HM the King and readiness to defend the national gains and achievements. He wished HM the King long life and the Kingdom of Bahrain more development, security and stability. HM the King sent a cable of thanks to HRH Premier in reply to his congratulatory cable. HM the King stressed that the BDF will remain the protective shield of the nation, hailing the Premier’s constant support to it. HM the King sent a cable of thanks to HRH the Crown Prince. HM the king took pride in the Crown Prince’s congratulations and wished him good health and happiness. HM the King extended congratulations to BDF personnel on the Golden Jubilee establishment anniversary, recalling the Crown Prince’s constant support for the BDF to safeguard the homeland and national achievements. HRH the Prime Minister and HRH the Crown Prince also exchanged congratulations and good wishes on the BDF’s 50th anniversary.
