Malaysian University Organises International Neuroscience Symposium 2012

KOTA KINABALU (Sabah, Malaysia), June 9 (Bernama) -- University Malaysia Sabah (UMS), located in the easternmost state of Malaysia, Sabah, will be organising the first International Neuroscience Symposium 2012 here on July 23-25. Organising Chairman Prof Dr Perumal Ramasamy said the symposium is co-organised with Brain Research Institute Monash Sunway (BRIMS) and Neuro Malaysia Society. "A total of 15 plenary lectures will be delivered by distinguished neuroscientists ranging from basic scientists to clinicians. "They will enlighten us about neuroscience research covering a range of topics from genes to behaviour and neurological disorders," he said at a press conference on the symposium here Saturday.
