Media coverage of F1 associating activities inspected

Manama, Apr. 5 (BNA): Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) Chief Executive Shaikh Salman bin Isa Al Khalifa today received a delegation from the Information Affairs Ministry led by Undersecretary Abdulrahman Mohammed Bahr to inspect the preparations for media coverage of activities associating with the 2018 Formula One (F1) Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix that will kick off on April 6-8.  The Undersecretary pointed out the directives of Information Affairs Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al Romaihi to provide all services and facilitations to ensure a successful media coverage of the entertainment activities associating with the international event amid a large crowed of citizens and visitors from around the globe anticipated to attend.  He said the ministry would set up a studio to cover the accompanying entertainment activities and to broadcast daily televised news and interviews with officials and experts in the field of formula racing. He extended thanks to ministries and government institutions for their cooperation to reflect the bright image of Bahrain and to highlight its capability to organise international sport meetings thanks to the support of the royal leadership, government, led by HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister.
