Medical delegation visits wounded citizens in Riyadh

Manama, Sept. 9 (BNA): The medical delegation which left for Riyadh on Thursday has been informed about the conditions of the wounded as a result of the accident which occurred on Wednesday in Saudi Arabia, the Ministry of Health said, adding that two of the injured citizens have already returned home to Bahrain, along with their families, due to their stable health conditions.
The Ministry pointed out that seven wounded citizens are still receiving medical treatment at the Al-Shumaisi and the Imam Abdulrahman Al-Faisal hospitals in Riyadh until their health conditions become stable, in addition to another female citizen who is being treated at the Al- Quwayiyah Hospital and will be transferred to Riyadh within the next few hours to continue receiving the appropriate medical care there.
The medical delegation will visit the wounded citizen and assess her health situation as soon as she arrives at the Al-Quwayiyah Hospital.
The Ministry of Health affirmed that it is constantly contacting the relevant Saudi authorities to follow up on the developments concerning the health condition of the injured, and in order to finalise procedures and arrangements to transfer them to Bahrain to continue receiving treatment at the Salmaniya Medical Complex.
