Meeting on domestic violence held

Manama, Mar 13 (BNA): Chief Advocate of Family and Child Prosecution, Shaikha Noora bint Abdullah Al Khalifa, has chaired the first coordination meeting with a delegation from of Legal Affairs Department of the North's Security Directorate led by Captain Ali Najim Ali. The meeting reviewed the current procedures followed in dealing with victims of domestic violence, ways to implement resolutions issued by the Public Prosecution in line with the law on the protection against domestic violence, as well as obstacles faced by protection centers in sheltering violence victims. The two sides agreed to hold more coordination meetings in this regard.
