"Meetings vital to tackle Arab, Islamic issues"

Manama, Apr. 25 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at Gudaibiya His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier. They underlined the importance of meetings held to discuss Arab and Islamic issues and work out effective solutions for economic and security challenges that threaten regional development and stability. They also praised Bahrain's keenness to back all efforts aimed at fighting the extremist ideology which has become the main challenge feeding terrorism. HRH the Crown Prince briefed HRH the Premier on the outcome of the 13th Islamic Summit hosted by Istanbul, Turkey, and keenness of the participating countries on adopting initiatives to foster cooperation and solidarity in facing challenges. HRH the Prime Minister praised the keynote speech given by HRH the Crown Prince before the summit and its accurate identification of the challenges facing the Islamic nation and ways of tackling them.
