Method of Cultivating Foreign Vegetations Confirmed

Pyongyang, July 4 (KCNA) -- The Central Botanical Garden in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea made achievements in confirming methods of cultivating and propagating over 790 species of gift plants presented to President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il by heads of state and prominent political, public and academic figures of foreign countries and overseas Koreans. Among them are Podocarpus macrophyllus, Wisteria floribunda, Cedrus deodara, Pinus parviflora, Osmanthus fragrans and Psidium guajava. The botanical garden is also paying deep attention to maintaining and disseminating pure breeds of Kimilsungia and Kimjongilia. -0-
