Minister conveys HM King's greetings to US president

New York, Sep. 21 (BNA): Foreign Affairs Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and wishes of good health to US President Barack Obama, wishing the American people further progress and prosperity. The minister also conveyed His Majesty the King’s appreciation of the historical ties between the two countries and their people in various fields. This came during a reception hosted by the US President, attended by Shaikh Khalid alongside world leaders and heads of delegations attending the 71st session of the UN General Assembly. Shaikh Khalid affirmed the keenness of the Kingdom of Bahrain on further developing cooperation with the US, praising the tangible efforts exerted by the US to maintain international security and peace.
