Minister of Culture Inaugurates Exhibition at Al Wakra Gallery

Doha, November 16 (QNA) - HE Minister of Culture Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Hamad bin Jassim bin Hamad Al-Thani inaugurated Wednesday evening the personal exhibition of the plastic artist Hessa Al Muftah at Al-Wakra Gallery in the old Al Wakra market. In a statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA) Al Muftah said that the exhibition is held at the same time with FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and is an opportunity for her to present to the public and visitors from various countries an aspect of the Qatari heritage, including the simple life spent of the ancestors in houses that are still engraved in the memory, indicating that she depicts the most beautiful moments from the memory of an old city where she lived. Al Wakra Gallery was inaugurated on Oct. 23,2022, and aims to create an artistic environment to utilize the innovation and energies of the young people. (QNA)
