Minister meets hajj coordinative medical panel

Manama, June 29 (BNA): Health Minister Faeqa Saeed Al Saleh met members of the Coordinative Medical Committee for Hajj, headed by Dr. Ebrahim Obaid. The minister commended the efforts, performance and health services provided by the outgoing committee to Bahrain's hajj pilgrims last year which was headed by Dr. Ali Al-Baqara who attended meeting. Al Saleh stressed keenness on the provision of the best healthcare to the Kingdom's pilgrims and exerting maximum efforts to assist them and provide them with the best services during the performance of hajj rituals. The minister stressed the importance of health awareness which protects contracting infectious diseases and the importance of avoiding the high temperature this year as the hajj season coincides with the hot summertime. She called for compliance with general cleanliness to prevent the spread of any contagious ailments and to follow the instructions to perform the hajj rituals easily without any health problems. She expressed the ministry's readiness to provide all the support to the Kingdom's Medical Mission for the Hajj Season 1437H to ensure the convenience of pilgrims. The minister thanked all members of the Hajj Medical Mission for their performance of a religious, humanitarian and spiritual duty towards pilgrims and the provision of health services to hajj pilgrims to ensure their safe return to the homeland.
