Minister of Municipality Receives the Arab City Socially Responsibility Key

Doha, October 24 (QNA) - HE Minister of Municipality Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie received Monday the key of Arab City Social Responsibility for the year 2023 after Al Daayen city won the Arab City Socially Responsible Award, by the Regional Network for Social Responsibility (RNSR). The key was handed over by HE Minister of State and President of Qatar National Library (QNL) Dr. Hamad bin Abdulaziz Al Kawari as one of the international ambassadors for social responsibility, in the presence of Vice President of the RNSR Dr. Ali Abdullah Al Ibrahim, a number of social responsibility ambassadors in the State of Qatar, and a number of Ministry of Municipality officials. The Minister of Municipality highlighted the remarkable development witnessed by Al Daayen Municipality and other municipalities in the State of Qatar, which resulted in the World Health Organization (WHO) granting all of them the title of Healthy City. His Excellency also highlighted that six Qatari cities, including Al Daayen, joined the UNESCO Global Network of Learning Cities, for their efforts in establishing distinguished practices in achieving social responsibility and the adoption of a strategy to spread the concepts of sustainability and integrating the community with it to achieve the Qatar National Vision 2030. HE Minister of Municipality received a shield of thanks and appreciation from the Regional Network for Social Responsibility, as well as the award flag from International Ambassador for Social Responsibility Mohammed bin Saif Al Kuwari. Minister of Municipality presented the shield of the Ministry of Municipality to the RNSR, in appreciation of its role and efforts in the field of social responsibility and sustainable development. Director of Al Daayen Municipality Rashid Mashlash Al Khayareen was also honored by the RNSR in appreciation of his efforts in managing the municipality. (QNA)
