Minister orders road improvement across Thailand

BANGKOK, October 13 (TNA) - Thai Transport Minister Arkhom Termpittayapaisith has instructed the Department of Highways to repair damaged roads nationwide for the sake of public safety. Arkhom told journalists on Thursday that he has ordered the Department of Highways to strictly check road conditions across the country, while also installing warning signs along the roads by making use of technologies. The minister suggested that the Department of Highways coordinate with local administrative organisations to send workers to repair damaged roads, saying that he will then evaluate progress of the road maintenance nationwide.
