Minister receives Finnish ambassador's credentials copy

Manama, Aug. 23 (BNA): Foreign Affairs Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa received Riitta Swan who presented a copy of her credentials as Abu Dhabi-based ambassador of Finland to the Kingdom of Bahrain. The minister welcomed the designate Finnish ambassador and discussed with her the bilateral ties. The ambassador expressed her country’s keenness on developing its relations with Bahrain and vowed to exert optimum efforts to bolster them in all domains for the shared interests of the two countries, hailing the development and progress of Bahrain in all fields. A number of issues of mutual interest were also discussed.
