Minister receives international diplomats participating in IDP

Manama, Oct. 23 (BNA): The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, received international diplomats who are hosted by the Mohammed Bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies as part of the International Diplomats Program (IDP). The minister welcomed the diplomats, noting their participation at the IDP that helps to promote the Kingdom’s relations with other countries. He added that the IDP is a platform to introduce diplomats from across the globe to Bahrain and its heritage as well as to mirror the Kingdom’s political, economic and cultural achievements. He wished the diplomats further success. Shaikh Khalid answered the diplomats' questions that revolved around several issues regarding Bahrain’s foreign policy and stances, as well as key regional and international developments. The minister hailed the diplomats' distinguished performance and abilities and shared with them advice.
