Minister receives Russian envoy

Manama, June 30 (BNA): Electricity and Water Affairs Minister Dr. Abdulhussain Mirza received Russian Ambassador Vagiev Gariev. The minister praised the strong relations between the two friendly countries in the fields of electricity, water and renewable energy. The two sides reviewed the most prominent projects implemented by the Electricity and Water Authority and the Sustainable Energy Unit as well as investment opportunities available to Russian companies. The ambassador thanked the minister and officials for the welcome and the hospitality and expressed his readiness to strengthen existing cooperation to serve all interests and aspirations.
