Minister receives Thai ambassador's credentials

Manama, Apr. 3 (BNA): Foreign Affairs Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa today received Chayapan Bamrungphong who presented to the minister a copy of his credentials as Ambassador-Designate of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Kingdom of Bahrain. During the meeting, the minister welcomed the Thai ambassador-designate, hailed the distinguished and ever-progressing Bahraini-Thai relations and wished the diplomat every success in his new mission, vowing to provide him with the necessary assistance to promote bilateral ties on all levels and meet the aspirations of the two friendly countries and peoples. For his part, Chayapan Bamrungphong expressed the keen desire of the Kingdom of Thailand to promote its relations of friendship and cooperation with the Kingdom of Bahrain to meet the interests of both sides, wishing Bahrain further progress and prosperity, Source: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA)
