MOFA Undersecretary meets CTBTO Executive Secretary

Vienna, Sept. 19 (BNA): Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Head of the National Committee on the Prohibition of the Development, Production, Stockpiling and Use of Chemical Weapons and on their Destruction Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Daij Al Khalifa met with Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO) Executive Secretary Dr. Lassina Zerbo. The two sides discussed cooperation between Bahrain and CTBTO and ways of enhancing them at all levels as well as the importance of activating bilateral cooperation and supporting joint international efforts to prevent nuclear threats and threats. Dr. Zerbo expressed his appreciation of the efforts of Bahrain’s National Committee in promoting Bahrain relations with IAEA and CTBTO, praising the constant support offered by the Kingdom to the treaty to help it achieve its objectives.
