Mohamed bin Zayed receives winners of Abu Dhabi Awards

Abu Dhabi (WAM): His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, received yesterday at Al Bahr Palace, the seven winners of the Abu Dhabi Awards, who were recognised recently for their generous and worthwhile deeds at the seventh Abu Dhabi Awards ceremony. As he congratulated the winners, Sheikh Mohamed highly valued their deeds and achievements in the service of Abu Dhabi community which had left a good impact in the march of development, charity and giving in the UAE. The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi emphasised that the UAE, under the leadership President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, would pursue the same path of the late founding father, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, in celebrating and recognising individuals who diligently served their community and homeland and appreciating their remarkable achievements in the service of public interest. The UAE, Sheikh Mohamed added, is blessed with extraordinary unsung Emirati and resident persons who give without limit and provide good services to the community and the nation. ''Honouring outstanding individuals is an expression of pride of values and principles in the UAE community. They deserve thanks and appreciation for their exceptional and effective role towards local community,'' HH said.
