Money transfer system hailed

Manama, Feb. 20 (BNA): A tribute was paid to His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa for establishing a money transfer system to ensure workers’ salaries are protected. The Chairman of the Executive Council of the Bahrain Free Labour Unions Federation (Al-Hurr) Yaqoob Yousif Mohamed sent a cable of thanks to HRH the Premier, hailing the initiative which makes it mandatory for private companies to transfer workers’ salaries via banks, putting an end to cash payments. He stressed the importance of the transfer system which, he said, promotes justice and preserves rights without any delay, thus bolstering Bahrain’s standing. He commended Bahrain’s regional and international labour strides, lauding the Government’s strategy which upgrades laws and legislations to create a business-friendly environment that attracts capitals, protects public and private money. He prayed to Allah the Almighty to protect HRH the Premier and guide his path to continue serving Bahrain and its people.
