More Farms and Workteams Finish Rice-transplanting in DPRK

Pyongyang, May 31 (KCNA) -- More farms and workteams have finished their rice-transplanting in time in the DPRK. As of May 29, at least 30 farms and some 500 workteams had finished their planned rice-transplanting in South Hwanghae Province. Cooperative farms in Anak, Sinchon and Jaeryong counties distinguished themselves in rice-transplanting. As of May 28, 56 co-op farms and more than 420 workteams in North Phyongan Province finished their rice-transplanting in the main. The same are true of farms in North Hwanghae Province and South Hamgyong Province, where a dynamic campaign for overtaking, learning about and swapping experiences one another is underway. -0-
