Nahyan bin Mubarak launches extensive UAE event guide for tourists

ABU DHABI (WAM): Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Council for Tourism and Antiquities, has launched the 'Emirates Events Programme', an extensive guide to events across the U.A.E., in an effort to promote the U.A.E., making it the world's favourite tourist destination. The first-of-its-kind programme in the country, which was launched during the 23rd Board of Directors meeting, will include a detailed list of social, artistic, cultural, and sport events and activities, as well as conferences and exhibitions being held around the country, under one reference source. Mubarak Hamad Al Muhairi, Director-General at the National Council of Tourism and Antiquities, said the programme guide will serve tourist and business visitors, potential visitors, and a large segment of the tourism industry in the U.A.E..
