National Day/ Iraq's Acting Charge d’Affaires to Qatar to QNA: National Day Slogan Reflects Leadership's Commitment to National Unity

Doha, December 16 (QNA) - Acting Charge d’Affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq Muhammad Issa Al Issawi stressed that choosing to play the final match of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 on the National Day is an optimal choice to link national events with global events, expressing his wish for continuous success, security and prosperity for the State of Qatar, represented by HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and HH the Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani. In his statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA), Al Issawi praised the impressive success achieved by the State of Qatar during the largest global event, the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, noting that this tournament was not achieved overnight, as it reflects the work and continuous effort in light of the wise leadership and the ambitious people who achieved the vision of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani. He pointed out that the National Day slogan 'Our Unity is the Source of Our Strength' reflects the leadership's interest in unity as a main goal that meets the aspirations of the State of Qatar with what it has achieved by representing the Arab region during hosting the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 for the first time in history. At the end of his statement to QNA, he said that the bilateral relations between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Iraq are reaching an exceptional, historic situation at all levels, expressing his hope for flourishing fraternal relationship between the two countries and the advent of the National Day for the State of Qatar with more prosperity and success.
