National Guard infantry team honoured

Manama, Sep. 22 (BNA): National Guard Commander, Lieutenant-General Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, received here today National Guard Infantry Team members, who ranked first at the British Royal Military Academy Sandhurst Infantry championship, in which 23 teams from different countries participated. The exploit of the team proves the success of the National Guard Presidency's efforts to put in place all requirements for such a military sport, he said. Shaikh Mohammed congratulated the team for their outstanding performance which raised the kingdom’s position higher at such a prestigious international gathering, wishing them further success at similar military sporting events. National Guard Staff Director, Major-General Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Saud, attended.
