National welfare government's ultimate goal

Manama, May 20 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at Gudaibiya Palace today members of the royal family and senior officials and discussed with them internal and external issues. He stressed that the ongoing developments shaking regional security and stability require more awareness of the importance of national unity, security and stability. He pointed out the need to focus efforts on security and growth in a parallel way to safeguard people’s interests and welfare. He underlined the importance of social cohesion in a changing world where distances have been shortened because of openness and social media networks. HRH the Prime Minister pointed out Bahrain’s substantial contribution, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, to regional and international efforts to achieve security and peace in the region and the whole world. These efforts, he said, stem from a strong belief that security is a prerequisite for growth and development.  HRH the Premier exchanged Ramadan greetings with the audience , emphasising the need to avail of the spiritual atmosphere to boost social communication and wishing Bahrain many happy returns. He lauded keenness of the Bahraini people to preserve their customs and traditions through exchanging visits during the holy month of Ramadan, pointing out the role of those visits in fostering national unity and social cohesion. HRH the Prime Minister underscored keenness on serving the nation and citizens, pointing out that all government efforts are directed towards this goal to further bolster national development. He also asserted the importance of unifying visions and stances regarding fast-paced regional developments and ways of maintaining security and stability.
