New Cambodian-Thai joint Cabinet retreat set early 2017
BANGKOK, October 10 (TNA) - The new joint Cabinet retreat between Cambodia and Thailand, the third of its kind, has been set early next year.
Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen, who is visiting Thailand for the 2nd Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) Summit during October 8-10, and his Thai counterpart General Prayut Chan-ocha agreed during their bilateral talks at Bangkok's Government House on October 9 that the next
Cambodian-Thai joint informal Cabinet meeting will be held in Cambodia in early 2017.
Both leaders also agreed on resuming a Cambodian-Thai General Border Committee (GBC) meeting in the near future after it has been suspended over the past two years.
The Thai premier also took the opportunity to thank his Cambodian counterpart for participating in the 2nd ACD Summit and expressed his appreciation to progressing bilateral relations between Cambodia and Thailand in all aspects. (TNA)
