New Koryo Therapies Introduced

Pyongyang, November 12 (KCNA) -- The Pyongyang Municipal Hospital of Koryo Medicine in the DPRK has positively introduced new Koryo therapies, making a signal progress in the treatment of patients. In the past the hospital combined cupping and electrotherapy in treating patients with Scheuermann's disease, but now it treats the disease by finding pain spot and acupuncturing it with Koryo medicine. It also introduced a new method to cure cervical spondylosis with acupuncture and manual technique therapy. The hospital applied a combination of electric cataplasm and Koryo medicines to curing gonarthromeningitis, thus shortening the period of treatment. -0-
