NHRA withdraws Doabetic from the market

Manama, Feb. 24 (BNA): The National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA) has announced it had recalled the medicine, "Doabetic 5 mg tablets", from the market , produced by the Kuwait Saudi Pharmaceutical Industries Co, following a decision taken by the Gulf Central Committee for Drug Registration during its meeting in Dubai. The Gulf Central Committee for Drug Registration requested to stop the distribution of the medicine and withdraw it from the market as it does not match the reference product. The NHRA explained that it had taken the measure in line with its keenness on ensuring the safety of drugs and medical products traded in Bahrain to protect the health of the citizens and residents. It called on citizens who are using the product to visit their doctors and ask them to change it.
