NIHR committee reviews bill of law

Manama, Feb. 15 (BNA): The National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR)’s Economic, Social and Cultural Rights Committee held its tenth meeting chaired by Dr. Hameed Ahmed Hussain, and attended by members Abdullah Ahmed Al Durazi and Widad Radhi Al Moussawi. The committee reviewed the views prepared by the General Secretariat regarding the proposed 'Domestic Workers Bill of Law" presented by the Council of Representatives, and took suitable decision in regard thereof. The committee discussed the provision of assistance and support to the Migrant Workers Protection Society (MWPS) to undertake its duties and implement its objectives in the best manner. The committee followed up the decisions and recommendations taken during its previous meetings.
