NIHR efforts to promote human rights stressed

Manama, Aug. 13 (BNA): President of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR) Maria Khoury hailed the visit of Yemeni Ambassador to Bahrain Dr. Ali Hassan Al Ahmedi. They reviewed ways of boosting joint cooperation and protecting human rights in line with international conventions and covenants. The NIHR President underlined the role of the institution in promoting the culture of human rights in Bahrain. The Yemeni ambassador lauded the efforts of the institution in boosting the culture of human rights, stressing readiness of the Yemeni embassy for cooperation to preserve human dignity and rights. The meeting was attended by NIHR Vice President Abdullah Ahmed Al Derazi.
