NIHR President meets Egypt’s NCHR

Manama, Apr. 4 (BNA): National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR)'s President Ali Ahmed Al Derazi met with Egypt’s National Council for Human Rights (NCHR) President Ambassador Moushira Khattab. This came on the sidelines of his visit to sign a joint agreement with the Arab Parliament’s Human Rights Observatory. The meeting discussed ways to enhance cooperation and exchange experiences in accordance with the national legislation granted capacity. The ambassador stressed the distinguished bilateral relations and the importance of strengthening these relations in the human rights field. AlDerazi praised the role played by NCHR at a local, regional and international levels. He noted the importance of strengthening technical cooperation to raise human rights capacities in accordance with international standards.
