NOGA brings new national achievement

Manama, May 4 (BNA): National Oil and Gas Authority has made a new achievement at the global level as it has completely put an end to routine gas flaring operation as a result of oil extraction operations. The achievement underlines Bahrain's commitment to reducing greenhouse gases as highlighted by the Paris Climate Change Conference held on 30 November - 12December 2015. Energy Minister Dr. Abdulhussain Mirza said that the achievement accentuates Bahrain's commitment to international resolutions and legislations. He added that Bahrain has promoted its international standing as a leading country in this field, which also inspires international companies to build strategic partnerships with the national oil companies.
