Number of decisions taken on results of meeting of Kyrgyzstan’s Security Council

Bishkek, Apr.1, 2020. /Kabar/. Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov held on Tuesday regular narrow format meeting of the country’s Security Council.
The meeting considered strengthening measures, aimed at preventing further spread of coronavirus infection and ensuring the country's food security,
Following the meeting, the Council made a proposal to PM of the republic to take measures against individual Government members for insufficient work to prevent the penetration of coronavirus infection into the country and its spread.
The Government of the Kyrgyz Republic was recommended:
- to develop an algorithm for the delivery and sale of basic necessities and socially important food products to villages where a state of emergency has been declared;
- to create additional places meeting sanitary and epidemiological norms in the observatory, located near Manas International Airport, and to provide new places for observatory on the territory of one of the military units.
In addition, the Security Council has adopted a decision which includes the following measures:
- Remote mode conversion of a large number of civil servants from ministries and departments, as well as employees of state institutions and enterprises located in the territory where the state of emergency has been declared.
- Organization of large-scale disinfection works of all public places, as well as facilities of institutions and organizations of various departments and other economic entities, regardless of their form of ownership, especially in areas where cases of infection have been recorded.
- Regular rounds and visits by medical and social workers to elderly people in their place of residence to check their condition and provide assistance if necessary.
- Together with local authorities, compile nameplate lists of especially needy citizens living in settlements where a state of emergency has been declared and provide them with food and socially important goods of prime necessity.
- Strengthening coordination between the Republican Headquarters to combat COVID-19, state bodies and suppliers of socially important products in order to ensure the unhindered movement of goods between regions, within cities and areas where a state of emergency has been declared.
- Introduction of a more efficient algorithm whereby all persons arriving in the Kyrgyz Republic are rapidly tested for coronavirus infection.
- Ensuring the targeted use of donor and humanitarian aid for the implementation of measures to combat the spread of coronavirus infection.
- Exploring with the relevant services and companies the possibility of easing the payment for utilities, television and the Internet.
- The Ministry of Agriculture, Food Industry and Land Reclamation of the Kyrgyz Republic is recommended to ensure timely spring field work, to create conditions for farmers and peasants' farms to deliver specialized fodder from oblast centers.
- The National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic is recommended to work with commercial banks to ensure sufficient cash resources for ATMs located in the territory where the state of emergency has been declared.
As of Apr.1, 111 cases of coronavirus were registered in the Kyrgyz Republic.
Three of patients infected have recovered.
From March 25 to April 15, a state of emergency is in force in the cities of Bishkek, Osh and Dzhalal-Abad, Nookat and Kara-Suu regions of Osh Oblast and in Suzak region of Dzhalal-Abad Oblast.
Movement for all citizens, except for those who are issued with a pass, namely internal affairs officers and medical and civil servants, is limited between 8:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. (night time). A curfew is established.
