Oil Minister takes oath

Manama, June 5 (BNA): HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, today at Al-Safriah Palace, in the presence of HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, received Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, who was sworn in as the new Oil Minister. HM the King congratulated the newly appointed minister and wished him success in taking on the national responsibility to serve the homeland and citizens. HM the King praised the new minister's qualifications and competence that qualify him for the new task. HM the King stressed that Bahrain continues implementing development plans and programmes in various fields to meet the aspirations of citizens. HM the King called for concerted efforts to reinforce the development march for more prosperous future, taking pride in Bahrain's reputation and respect earned among the world countries thanks to the achievements and success made in many areas. HRH Prime Minister wished the newly appointed minister success to contribute to the development march and addressing citizens' aspirations. The Oil Minister expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to HM the King for the royal confidence he entrusted with, affirming that the royal directives will always be a beacon to guide him on the right path. He vowed serving the homeland and citizens.
