Ombudsman receives Dutch ambassador

Manama, Mar. 21 (BNA): Ombudsman, Nawaf Mohammed Al Ma’awda, received in his office today Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Kingdom of Bahrain, residing in Kuwait, Laurens Westhoff. The meeting was attended by Deputy Ombudsman, Ghada Hamid Habib, and representative of the Foreign Ministry, Fahad Abdulaziz Al Benali. The Ombudsman welcomed the Dutch ambassador on his first visit to the Ombudsman Secretariat General and reviewed its main activities over the past period of time and the services it provides to further promote human rights according to international standards.
