Ombudsman Secretariat General receives US Congress delegation

Manama, Mar. 20 (BNA): Deputy Ombudsman, Ghada Hamid Habib, received at the Secretariat General headquarters a delegation from the US Congress on the occasion of their visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain. She discussed with them the main statistics and information included in the Secretariat General’s 8th annual report and their indications. She also highlighted models of investigations in some complaints and the results reached in accordance with a professional and legal approach. She also briefed the delegation about the Secretariat General’s international cooperation to benefit from international experiences and practices. The meeting was attended, from the Ombudsman Secretariat General, by Director of International Cooperation and Development, Shaikh Mohammed bin Ali Al Khalifa.
