One defense volunteer killed in Narathiwat bombing

NARATHIWAT, Oct 9 (TNA) – One defense volunteer was killed and another was injured in a bombing in the southern border province of Narathiwat. The bomb went off while eight defense volunteers were patrolling a road on motorcycles in Bacho district this morning. One official dies at the scene and another was injured and sent to hospital. Six others are unscathed. According to an initial investigation, it is a remote controlled bomb, assembled in a gas cylinder. (TNA)
