PACE head Cavusoglu to inaugurate AA photo exhibition

ISTANBUL (A.A) – January 17, 2012 – President Mevlut Cavusoglu of Parliamentary Assembly of Council of Europe (PACE) will inaugurate an AA photo exhibition in Strasbourg on the last day of his term in office. Cavusoglu's two-year term in office will expire on January 23. Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arinc and Cavusoglu will together inaugurate an AA exhibition displaying the photos taken in Somalia. Speaking to AA, Cavusoglu said that he would be pleased to inaugurate such an exhibition, adding that PACE showed sensitivity towards disasters happening in different regions of the world. Recently PACE held a session on drought, hunger and disasters in East African countries including Somalia too, said Cavusoglu, adding that assistance by European countries was insufficient. The photo exhibition will show the sensitivity Turkey showed in Somalia, he noted.
