Palestinian President Abbas arrives in Turkey

ANKARA (A.A) - Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas arrived in Turkish capital of Ankara on Tuesday. President Abbas was greeted at Ankara's Esenboga International Airport by the ambassadors of 20 countries, Deputy Governor of Ankara Hayrettin Balcioglu and other officials. Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu will host a dinner in honor of President Abbas at the Foreign Ministry Residence in Ankara. President Abbas is expected to meet the Turkish President Abdullah Gul and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Wednesday. Mahmoud Abbas, in his talks with Turkish officials, will discuss the developments in the Middle East within the framework of "Arab Spring", the peace process in the Middle East and the domestic compromise in Palestine.
