Parent’s care, an intrinsic Islamic value

Manama, Mar. 28 (BNA): Bahrain Parents Care Home Honorary Chairman His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa stressed the importance of providing all social care to elderly people who are in dire need of help. "Helping elderly people is a humanitarian and ethical duty and a genuine and noble intrinsic Islamic value", he said as he received Bahrain Parents Care Society chairman and board members. HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa was briefed about the planned programmes and activities as well as the functions which were held recently. He commended their dedicated efforts to provide all social, psychological and health services to the elderly people living at the Bahrain Parents Care Home and build effective partnerships with all social categories. He stressed the keenness of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa on supporting humanitarian work.
