Philippines President visits Capital Club Bahrain

Manama, Apr. 14 (BNA): President of the Philippines Rodrigo Duterte visited today the Capital Club Bahrain, accompanied by Deputy Premier and Head of the Mission of Honour Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa. Officials and businessmen from both countries as well as members of the club and Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) were also present. Bilateral relations, mainly in the economic and investment sectors, were reviewed, highlighting for Bahraini and Philippine businessmen the best investment opportunities in both countries. The Philippines President delivered a speech in which he thanked the Bahraini leadership and people for the good hospitality. Discussions focused mainly on ways of availing of the promising investment opportunities in both countries as well as means of bolstering bilateral cooperation at all levels.
