Pizza Hut Woos Families With Free Meals For Kids

KUALA LUMPUR, April 24 (Bernama) -- Pizza Hut, the biggest pizza chain in Malaysia and Singapore, Tuesday launched its new "Kids Eat Free Every Day" signature value offering. The deal offers a scrumptious meal selection that includes the new Kidz Bolognaise, Carbonara, Chicken Pineapple Pizza, Tuna Pineapple Pizza, Meltz and Cheesy Meatballs and is now part of Pizza Hut's standard offering. It Senior Vice President Ling Mee Jiuan said the free meal offer is limited to one meal per child for every RM20 spent and is only available to children below eight years old or below 120 centimeters in height, whichever is applicable, and is for dine-in only. "We expect the offer to help drive sales, revenue and profit growth. Every new promotion that Pizza Hut launched was another competitive weapon in our arsenal that its rivals will have difficulty matching," she told a media briefing after the launch of the new offer. Ling also expected the introduction of the offer to encourage more families to eat at Pizza Hut restaurants, to reward them for it and make the chain even more relevant to them in a very meaningful way. --BERNAMA
