Pledge to meet citizens' service needs reiterated

Manama, Feb. 27 (BNA): HH Southern Governor Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa today reviewed with officials from service ministries the service projects under implementation followed up by the Southern Governorate in implementation of the leadership directives to learn about and meet citizens’ service and living needs.  The governor today held a meeting with Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Undersecretaries Dr. Nabeel Dr. Nabil Abu Al-Fateh and Ahmed Al Khayat; Youth Affair and Sports Assistant Undersecretary Khalid Al Haj; Education Undersecretary Nawal Al Khater; Southern Governorate Municipalities Director General Assim Abdullatif and a number of officials from service ministries concerned. He highlighted the government, led by HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, keenness to provide public services to meet citizens’ needs. He reiterated commitment to follow up the progress of service projects under implementation to translate the aspirations of the Southern Governorate’s citizens into reality, commending the concerned ministries’ response to provide the governorate’s needs to meet citizens’ requirements.
