Polycrystalline Diamond Compact Drill Bit Developed in DPRK

Pyongyang, December 11 (KCNA) -- Polycrystalline diamond compact drill bit, developed by Kim Chaek University of Technology in the DPRK, was recently recognized as an advanced technological product. According to its developer Kim Yong Nam, this diamond compact drill bit is two times higher in boring speed than other diamond crowns. It has been used at various prospecting corps active in the northern and middle parts of the country, proving effective. -0-
