Premier’s support to business sector hailed

Manama, Mar. 26 (BNA): The trading community paid tribute to His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa, following his decision to delay implementation of commercial fees. They also commended HRH the Premier’s directives, instructing the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism to consult with the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) towards reaching an adequate commercial fee-levying scheme. HRH the Premier received a cable from BCCI Chairman Sameer Abdulla Nass, who hailed HRH the Premier’s support to the trade sector to withstand the challenges resulting from the domestic and global economic shifts. He underscored the importance of the move in supporting the trade and business sectors to continue developing the national economy, hailing the Premier’s follow-up and keenness on improving the economic situation.
