Premier arrives in Kuwait

Kuwait, June 12 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa arrived in Kuwait this evening on an annual fraternal visit. The Premier will meet Amir of Kuwait Shaikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Crown Prince Shaikh Nawaf Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and Prime Minister Shaikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah to discuss key issues aimed to strengthen bilateral relations and enhance joint cooperation. The Premier was met on arrival at the airport by Prime Minister Shaikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, his deputies, senior officials and the ambassadors of the two countries. He expressed his delight at paying this annual visit to Kuwait to meet Amir Shaikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, lauding deep-rooted historic relations binding the two countries. He seized the occasion to take pride in solid cooperation, which gained strength through passing historic stages. "Deep-rooted Bahraini-Kuwaiti represent a model in bilateral relations binding countries", he said, commending shared visions and common destiny and security. He hailed the opportunity to meet Crown Prince Shaikh Nawaf Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and Prime Minister Shaikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah to expand cooperation and bolster bilateral and GCC multilateral coordination. He urged cooperation to confront growing regional challenges and dangers, saying that unilateral solutions are no longer viable as the region goes through a defining phase. The Gulf Cooperation Council, he said, is going through a golden era, lauding unprecedented bilateral and collective cooperation and coordination between member countries.
