Premier calls to avail of democratic climate in Bahrain

Manama, Apr. 25 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa stressed the key role played by members of the legislature in national work. He urged to take advantage of the democratic climate in Bahrain to tackle issues aimed at boosting development and social unity. HRH the Premier made the comments as he received at Gudaibiya Palace today Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, MPs, Shura Council members and senior officials. He underscored the need to use social networks to foster social unity, prevent division and serve the national interest. He also warned against undermining social cohesion by inciting division and partisanship. HRH the Prime Minister commended strategic partnership between the executive and legislative branches, stressing the need for concerted efforts to fast-track development and boost citizens' welfare. He pledged to continue the development march spearheaded by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa so as to maximise national achievements and thwart plots against Bahrain.
