Premier congratulates Japanese emperor

Manama, Dec. 3 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa deputized Southern Governor His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al-Khalifa to attend a ceremony marking the 84th birthday anniversary of the Emperor of Japan. Japanese Ambassador hosted the event at the Ritz Carlton Bahrain Hotel and Spa, in the presence of officials, members of the diplomatic corps accredited to Bahrain and invitees. HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al-Khalifa conveyed congratulations from HRH the Premier to the Japanese monarch, wishing him abundant health and happiness and his friendly people further progress and prosperity. HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al-Khalifa hailed solid relations of cooperation and friendship binding the Kingdom of Bahrain and Japan, in light of understanding and mutual respect, lauding steadily-growing ties. The Japanese diplomat extended deepest thanks to HRH the Premier, hailing his support to outstanding relations of cooperation and friendship. He lauded steadily-growing cooperation between Bahrain and Japan, which, he said, reflects shared desire to further bolster joint ties towards achieving shared interests.
